DCP is very happy to announce that the Twos program has found its teacher in Teacher Christine Anderson!

Teacher Christine has taught preschool and volunteered with children for many years and know the rewards and challenges that come with working with young children and their families. She especially enjoys the early years of wonder, creativity and imagination.

“Parenting has provided an opportunity to apply theory into the ‘real world’,” says Teacher Christine.

“My husband, also an educator, and I have been involved in a variety of community workshops, classes and parenting groups as both instructors and students. We recognize the many challenges that parenting brings and have benefited from a diverse range of mentors and educational opportunities along our journey.”

Teacher Christine holds a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in English and is a community volunteer and parent education coordinator. She has experienced the joy of helping parents learn tools and strategies to assist in the important task of raising kids.

“The co-op concept is effective in partnering with parents to support, empower and inspire. This model, mentor and coach approach is one that I embrace whole-heartedly and am excited to participate in.”

Teacher Christine, her husband, Curtis, of 14 years and four children live in Duvall, WA.
